Trans liberation is a community effort.

We want to highlight the following local organizations, whose work leads the way in dismantling systems of oppression in our communities.

House of Tulip is a trans-led Community Land Trust creating housing solutions for TGNC people in Louisiana.

Louisiana Trans Advocates advances the core human rights of self-determination and expression for all trans, nonbinary and gender nonconforming people in Louisiana. LTA serves as TIDAL’s fiscal sponsor.

Southern Solidarity is a grassroots, community-based group of volunteers who organize the delivery of food, medical resources and basic needs directly to the unhoused in New Orleans.

Women with a Vision improves the lives of marginalized women, their families, and communities by addressing the social conditions that hinder their health and well-being, with a focus on sex worker rights, drug policy reform, HIV+ women’s advocacy, and reproductive justice outreach.

OPP Reform Coalition is dedicated to reducing incarceration and creating a liberated New Orleans without the use of cages.

IWES is a New Orleans based public health non-profit specializing in youth & adult programs for sexual/reproductive health, advocacy, and mental health.
